HKC Rockland County

ROCKLAND COUNTY

Welcoming 1400 campers each day

At 105 acres, HKC Rockland County is large enough for each camp to have its own space, but small enough that it can feel like a community. Built in 1955, this site is currently home to four camps, serving more than 1300 campers each day. It is also home to the Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds administrative offices.

In 2016, UJA-Federation of New York, who owns the property, embarked on a $35 million capital campaign to bring HKC into the 21st century. Today, HKC Rockland county has new home bases, some of which will first be used in Summer 2022, and two new aquatic complexes, bring the total number of pools on site to eight.
