The Mildred Goetz Day Camp

Opened in 1955, the Mildred Goetz Day Camp is comprised of 95 acres of lush woods, grassy hills, open meadows, and a sparkling lake and winding stream; and serves more than 3500 campers from Manhattan, the Bronx, Rockland, Westchester and Bergen Counties.

Featuring boating, canoeing, and hiking, as well as a petting zoo, the camp encourages interactions with nature. Then there are the climbing and playground structures, gaga pits, and sand volleyball courts. And with more than ten fields and four pools the Mildred Goetz Day Camp provides versatile and adaptable spaces for a multitude of fun, engaging, and stimulating activities.

Unique to the campground is the Leeds Amphitheatre, where campers can watch a performance or perform themselves.

In addition to the shared areas and resources, each of the five agencies that utilize the grounds has an exclusive area with amenities unique to its own camp.
