Returning Employees

Welcome Back! We’re pleased that you want to work with us for the summer of 2018.

Please read carefully on what you need to do before we can rehire you this summer.

The first step is for you to submit your Notification of Intent to Return. Please fill out the form for the appropriate site.

Once we receive the form you will hear from us about dates for required training and orientation, as well as your salary for 2018. You will then need to confirm that you are still interested in returning. Once you do you will receive an email with links to your paperwork asking you to either review or resubmit relevant documents.

The list includes:

  • Application Update for Returning Employees
  • Authorization to Release Information
  • W-4 for 2018
  • Working papers if you are a minor
  • Guardian release, if you are a minor
  • I-9 Update

Please note: HKC will be conducting state mandated background checks on all new and returning employees.


You will also need to review your certifications to see if they need to be renewed this year.  Be aware, regardless of the expiration date on your CPR/AED certification, it must be renewed each year.

Depending on where you work, we may have a course for you.  Please check with your Site Director.
